Our single rooms have private ensuites. 

Integrated room control technology is available in all patient care rooms. You are able to adjust air conditioning, blinds and lighting from the bedside. The technology features include:

  • general lighting in the room including the above bed down light, ensuite and reading lights all with dimming abilities
  • air conditioning temperature control warmer or cooler from a set point
  • motorised window blinds with one block out and one shade blind per room that can be operated independently of each other.

The system is controlled by simple switch panels located at the entrance to the room and at the bedside.

Room service

We are excited to offer our patients room service, providing you with freshly prepared meals delivered to your room within 45 minutes of ordering. Meals are simple yet delicious, with options that cater to every taste and dietary requirement.

All meals are ordered between the hours of 6.30 am and 7 pm and your family members or carers may place an order on your behalf by dialling our Room Service Representative on 07 3163 3663 during service hours.

Luke Mangan Chef's Specials

Mater Health has partnered with celebrity chef, Luke Mangan to develop a bespoke, high-end Chef’s specials menu for Mater Private Hospital Springfield patients.  

The exciting menu developed by Luke in collaboration with Mater’s Executive Chef Aman Marwah and Mater dietitians, features fresh, restaurant quality entrees, mains and desserts, and is available to private patients in addition to our room service menu.

MyMater Bedside—patient entertainment 

You can enjoy a range of entertainment options and access important patient information with MyMater Bedside.  This personalised touchscreen device provides you with access to TV, radio, relaxation music and games, as well as educational health information. You can also access streaming services such as Netflix, Stan and SBS On Demand, as well as social networking platforms Facebook and Skype.
