Mater Pathology has been operating a high-quality service to the South East Queensland community for over 100 Years. Established by the Sisters of Mercy, our organisation ensures that patients have access to the most innovative and complete pathology testing available.
For your convenience we accept request forms from all Pathology Providers so regardless of the form you have, you can visit us.
We are 100% Queensland owned and operated and the largest private not-for-profit Pathology provider in the state. Any profit Mater Pathology make from testing is reinvested into the services Mater have provided to the community since 1906.
Mater Pathology is heavily involved in advancing pathology testing to improve care through our comprehensive clinical trials and research capability. We operate a fully accredited facility meeting all the legislative and regulatory requirements of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia (RCPA) and the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional and technical excellence.
