Mater Pathology is heavily involved in advancing pathology testing to improve care through our comprehensive clinical trials and research capability. We operate a fully accredited facility meeting all the legislative and regulatory requirements of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia (RCPA) and the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional and technical excellence.

Whether you need a blood test or another type of pathology test, Mater Pathology has more than 25 collection centres within Brisbane and its surrounding communities to ensure you have access to our quality service. Collection centre opening times vary so please check for times that suit you.  

If these times do not suit you, we also offer a 24/7 collection service at our South Brisbane facility. Please present to Mater Hospital Brisbane Adult Emergency or Mater Private Emergency Care Centre after 5 pm and a phlebotomist will be contacted and perform the required test.
